Glasgow Winners but alas not winner of the Title….

…But Hey ho it was a fantastic opportunity to have gotten so far and for taking part. The whole experience was so scary and out of our comfort zone at the time, but now we look back it was Fab.

When we won the heat on Tuesday it was such a wonderful atmosphere with the girls we were up against whereas on Friday it was different in the respect that Eamonn and Ruth were such wonderful presenters and they were the calming ones on that day! What a cracker Eammon is so funny and so warm as was Ruth.

We will have photo’s up for you as soon as possible until then we are glad the competition has come to an end as it was consuming our every thought! We had some laughs and we Thank ITV – all the staff who worked extra hard on the whole project, the chauffeurs that picked us up and took us to our hotels telling us many a tale and most importantly A HUGE Thank You to our families friends and our voters for all of your support – without you we would have not made the finals. To extend our appreciation we would like to offer you 15% discount Just enter FINALIST at the checkout.

We are sorry we cannot pay your phonebills but trust me our husbands have already BANKRUPT us in the process!!

It’s Thursday which means its nearly Friday FINALS DAY!!!!!!!

That’s right Moo-ers it’s on the tip of our hoof, tomorrow is finals which means tomorrow Milky Moo Moo will be having a final chance at those prizes and the Mumpreneur crown. We are so excited and thrilled to have the opportunity.

We have had people giving us support on our blog and our website, as well as family and friends right behind ua wishing us well and that makes us happier than ever. Our customers, family and friends are what counts more than anything and we hope we continue to make each and every happy!

We go to London in a short while, Pamela gets on at Newcastle and I will be hopping on to join her at Leeds. We will then talk none stop about it until we get picked up and taken to our hotel where we will talk about it more (at this point I will have chewed Pamela’s ear off) Then we will try get some sleep ready for our BIG DAY!

Wish us well and THANK YOU each and every one for your support every single vote we received on Tuesday counted as there was nothing in it so we think ourselves as extremley lucky.

Infact after all the lows we have had on our bumpy journey to get Milky Moo moo fully ready we did wonder when we would get a break we desrerved for all of our hard work and you know what, here it is! and we are relishing every second of it! XXXXXX

Oh My giddy aunt we have it all to come to again. Yes I bid ye fellow moo-ers to tune in on FRIDAY 24th OCTOBER and Support us in the FINAL for MILKY MOO MOO. We are nervous as hell and would love and need to win, we can do so much with the prizes and grow MILKY MOO MOO!!

Tommorrow we head down to London again to begin our final leg of our Mumpreneur journey, we still don’t know who all the finalists are yet so its all to exciting

IT’s TIME for the TV DRAMA!!

Well it’s nearly time for the tv drama of ITV This Morning Mumpreneur competition, we say drama as we seem to be going through one with the whole buildup!!

Tomorrow Tuesday 21st October will see us sitting nervously on the This Morning sofa for a quick chat with Phil & Fern before pitching our product to the nation in the hope to make it thorugh to the final on Friday.

NERVOUS can’t even describe how we are feeling and as we still haven’t decided who is doing the pitch but no matter who does it I thinkfor the sheer nervous comical value its worth a tune in…

It’s getting a little too close too quick

Yes that’s right I am still banging on about Tuesday 21st. Pamela came down to mine yesterday for a pratice of our pitch and I must admit the thought of doing it live is making us flap like a bird in a frenzy!!!!

How do we have the time to practice a pitch I ask??? only one of us can do it, we are both learning it (in this spare time we don’t have!!!) and we will literally see who does it on the day! At present I sound better and Pamela looks better so I was thinking along the lines of pamela miming and me hid on the floor!!! My jaw is flapping at the very thought of this whole thing, I mean can you imagine having to do this????

Yes that’s right moo-ers support the cow is in the Semi’s of mumpreneur on 21st October. We are pitching live on the sofa to Phil and Fern! It’s all down to a public vote to see who makes it to the final on Friday.

In light of finding out our ‘date’ two days ago I had my first ‘NIGHTMARE’ last night. I dreamt me and Pamela were in someone’s (totally random) conservatory doing live tasks alongside a bunch of folk I have never met before. There were 5 girls and 5 boys left the girls decided to go against each other. Me and Pamela decided do to a duel (after knocking back a who can play Robbie Williams ‘Angels’ the best on a piano -eh!!!). We took ten paces turned around and I swear to you at the point my daughter woke me up! Was she dream snatching and could fore see me getting gunned down? Well I suspect it’s the first of many night terrors until Oct 21st!! Does anyone out there analyse dreams>>>>What does this mean

Pamela Lowes and Lynn Oakes owners of Milky Moo Moo proudly announce that after a roller-coaster few weeks they have been chosen amongst thousands of aspiring Mums in business as semi finalists for ITV’s This Morning show – a quest to find Mumpreneur 2008.

Milky Moo Moo is an online company www.milkymoomoo.com which sells Cool Creative Clothing for Babies, Kids & Adults with Attitude!! On the website you can personalise garments in different ways and all items come delivered in a moo moo carton, making fabulously funky gifts.

They were short listed to attend a regional heat held in Glasgow; where they had to pitch their product and idea for 2 minutes to a panel of judges. Their was tough competition but judges Tim Campbell, Emma Harrison and Judy Naake chose our great product and idea as a ‘great concept’ to get thorough to the live semi final show on ITV’s This Morning week commencing 20^th October 2008.

They have both been working tirelessly since launching their on-line shop in 2007, often into the
night and every spare minute they can grab in between childcare and the school runs. ‘It is moments like these that make it worth all the while’, says Lynn.

Their ordering process gives the customer a choice of ranges, style, colours, and designs to choose from and also come with the extra excitement of adding a name or slogan of your choice! Mums dads, aunts grandpa’s alike all buy Milky Moo Moo products for their loved ones and say that special thought on a t-shirt. What’s more all babies and kids tee’s come rolled up in their own cool Moo Moo carton making a great finishing touch.
